The IP voice traffic will be transported across Global Crossing’s Private VoIP platform for off net TDM completion via the local public switched telephone network (PSTN). Global Crossing VoIP Local Service provides local origination for nationwide local numbers through a single IP point as a cost-effective alternative to traditional toll-free applications.
Private Line
Global Crossing’s Private Line service provides high-reliability, point-to-point, digital connectivity. Highly reliable SDH/SONET is available at speeds from T1/E1 to STM16c/OC48c including Ethernet bandwidths. Global Crossing OneConnect is a high capacity fan-out private line service. Global Crossing provides Frame Relay and ATM private line service via Global Crossing’s seamless Global Network platform. Collocation contractual arrangements allow customers to house their equipment within a designated area of specific Global Crossing Point of Presence for the purpose of interconnection to other Global Crossing applied services.
